IAMKIDZ - Digital Imaging Program
![]() |
Program Outline
This program introduces the basic features of Adobe Photoshop to children in a fun and easy to follow lesson plans. Children learn how to use the world’s leading graphics editing software in a pace and environment that capitalize on their natural curiosity instincts.
In this program, children are taught the basic functions for editing and manipulating digital images. Fun examples and techniques are taught throughout the program. Each child will be given personal attention to ensure that they will not be overwhelmed by the many features of the software or held back by slower peers in the classroom.
Individuals with good skills in Adobe Photoshop are in high demand in some of the most sought after jobs (eg. advertising, computer games design, animation studio and many more). We believe every child has the creativity in them and by teaching them some basic skills now and given continuous encouragement may turn into a profitable skill in the future.
Everyone in the class will be working in teams. Each student will have the opportunity to play the role of director, camera operator and editor. At the end of the program, students will screen their movies in an IAM Kidz Film Festival environment where parents are encouraged to attend.
Upon completion of this program each student will be able to produce a personalized birthday greeting card, digitally stylized output of their favorite photograph and create a small coloring booklet for their friend or sibling.
