Media Industries (organisation, regulation and practice)
In this module, candidates investigate organisations, regulations and working practices in the media industries in order to understand how the media operates, the main legal constraints involved and professional working practices. In the second outcome candidates will focus on health and safety practices.Researching, Recording and Presenting Information
In this module, candidates will develop an understanding of different sources of information to suit differing situations, describe the methods used to carry out and record research whilst being aware of legal, ethical and representational content considerations.Video Production Techniques

The main aim of this module is to provide candidates with the opportunity to explore and develop basic skills in a variety of roles involved in lighting design and realisation different production environment.Digital Image Manipulation Techniques
The aim of this unit is to provide candidates with the opportunity to explore and develop basic skills in digital image manipulation for editing purposes.Animation Techniques
This module provides candidates with the opportunity to explore and develop their understanding of animation for digital visual effects.Short Film Production
